Section 1:

A single computer in a home that requires Internet access will require a single Home Office Jack at the computer location. This option will accommodate Internet connections via DSL, Dial-up or Cable services. (Option)

Multiple computers in a home (either PC or Laptop) can most efficiently share DSL or Cable connection through a home network using a LAN Outlet at each computer or Laptop access location. The home-network can be completed with a network hub and router that connect (not included) each LAN outlet location and the Cable/DSL modem at the main communications panel and file/internet sharing software (not included) on each computer. (Option)

Section 2:

Each Cable Television location should minimally use the Television Jack option although it is recommended that each cable television location use the Tele/TV Combo Jack as many cable companies and services are now requiring phone connections. (Option)

Each Satellite or Tivo/Replay Television location should minimally use the Tele/TV Combo Jack.. This will provide the satellite or video connection as well as a phone outlet, which are required at each Television location to receive Tivo, Replay, DirecTV, or Dish Network service. (satellite, Tivo and replay receivers and dish not included) (Option)

Section 3:

For an additional Alarm Keypad add one command center option per location. (Option)

Motion Detectors for your alarm system can be added. (Option)

Smoke Detectors can be added to the alarm system. This option will provide Fire Detection to your alarm package. It is not recommended to place smoke detectors in the kitchen or bathrooms to avoid false alarms. (Option)

Section 4:

The Plasma Pre-wire Option provides the in-wall video and control cabling necessary to mount a Plasma TV (not included) with remote source components. A plasma TV functions as a computer monitor, with no tuner for cable, antenna or satellite input of its own. A Plasma TV will generally accept inputs from VCRs, DVD Players, Satellite Receivers, Cable Boxes, etc. A good location for these listed input components is a nearby closet, cabinet or built-in. Please specify the locations including height of the source component, wall connections and the corresponding connections behind the Plasma TV. Keep in mind that you will need 110 AC jacks behind the Plasma TV and source components. With this option you will also want to ensure that a Multi-media Jack is also selected as an option behind your source components and not the Plasma TV. In most cases, your plasma pre-wire will involve moving your audio and video components away from the standard House Music/Home Theater Speaker Pre-wire location. In this case you will also need to include the Audio Extension Pre-wire Option.

The standard House music and surround sound pre-wire is terminated next to the standard Multi-Media Jack in the family room. Moving Audio Components from the Pre-wired Family Room Home Theater Location requires the Audio Extension Pre-wire Option.

This will allow you to move your house music source components to another room or another location in the same room. Please specify the new component location for the pre-wire extension. Please keep in mind that an additional multi-media jack option may be necessary at the new location for phone and Satellite/Cable connections.

An Additional Surround Sound System requires the Surround Sound Pre-wire in that room. This provides speaker pre-wire to six speaker locations in a room. These locations include (2) rear speakers, (3) front speakers and (1) line and speaker level pre-wire to a subwoofer location. Please specify the six speaker locations. The sub-woofer pre-wire should generally be at one to two feet high on a wall and not covered by future furniture placement. The five other speaker locations can be in-wall or in-ceiling. A pair of HD speakers to pre-wired location options for the left and right front and rear locations is recommended. To complete the home theater speaker setup, it is recommended that a center channel box speaker (not included) be used along with a box sub-woofer (also not included). If the surround sound system in this room will also be used for the house music system, please include the Audio Extension Pre-wire from the standard family room location to the new Audio/Video component location for your surround sound system. Don’t forget to include the Multi-Media jack option (if necessary) behind your TV or video component.

Section 5:

Each Home Theater Location should be pre-wired with a Multimedia Jack.. This will allow for various video connections via the dual cable/satellite wiring, any necessary phone connections, and future Internet connection for music and Internet radio. (Option)

The BG (background) Type Speakers are designed for use as background music speakers, ideally suited for low-level music applications throughout your home. They are available both in-wall and in-ceiling versions. These speakers can be added to standard pre-wire or additional locations. A volume control must be purchased separately. For additional speaker areas, please specify speaker and volume control locations. (Option-standard pre-wire location) (Option-additional location)

The MP (multipurpose) Type Speakers are designed for use in house music or home theater applications. They are best suited for low to mid-level house music and surround home theater applications. They are available both in-wall and in-ceiling versions. These speakers can be added to standard pre-wire or additional locations.  A volume control must be purchased separately. For additional speaker areas, please specify speaker and volume control locations. (Option-standard pre-wire location) (Option-additional location)

The HD (high definition) Type Speakers are ideal for use in home theater or house music applications. These speakers include upgraded crossover and components for higher quality sound.  They are available both in-wall and in-ceiling versions.  These speakers can be added to standard pre-wire or additional locations. A volume control must be purchased separately. The HD+ Type Speakers are ideal for use in home theater application or for the ultimate house music environment. These speakers are comparable to the HD Speakers with added bass response. They are available both in-wall and in-ceiling versions. These speakers can be added to standard pre-wire or additional locations.  A volume control must be purchased separately.  For additional speaker locations, please specify speaker and volume control locations. The Volume Control option can be added to pre-wired or added house music speaker locations to allow for local volume adjustment of each pair of speakers. There are various types of volume controls available. This option presents a high quality but basic volume control. (Option)
